The story so far.......

I am socks, everybody knows me as this. I am 40 plus years old originally born and bread in north London with a Greek Cypriot heritage and currently residing in Muswell hill.

I have been an artist since a small boy and have studied the arts over many years in many institutions, I am a firm believer in traditional forms and methods to my work but I am not afraid to incorporate the modern, this is also a personal character trait of mine and I hope to encourage with my work and styles of working.

I have been round the block, worn the t-shirt and have had to grind my way through life. Ups, downs, love, life, depression, anxiety.. the works.

Lessons in life and love are just part of being human, life is just a series of lessons, we learn, realise and heal.

So to this blog I will be adding a lot of my work and you will see that my belief in just creating what comes to mind and not to be afraid from what others might think is important.
